- This is open to both members and non-members of Eventing Ireland
- The Flexi Eventing comprises:
- Dressage (Intro, Pre-Novice, Novice & Intermediate)
- Show Jumping (70cms- 1.20m)
- Cross Country (70cms – 1M)
- Riders may compete in any 1, 2 or 3 disciplines at a level of their choice in each discipline eg they may do Intro dressage, SJ at 1m and XC at 90 cms
- If the same combination competes twice at the same level, the second performance will be regarded as HC and only an attendance point will be awarded
- Riders may compete in the various disciplines in an order of their choice
Scoring System
The following Scoring system will be implemented:
Dressage – For classes with entries of 11+
1st 7points
2nd 6 points
3rd 5 points
4th 4 points
5th 3 points
6th 2 points
All other participants get 1 point
Dressage – For classes with entries of 1-10
1st 4.5 points
2nd 4 points
3rd 3.5 points
4th 3 points
5th 2.5 points
6th 2 points
All other participants get 1 point
Show Jumping
The Show jumping Course will be Fences 1-12
Clear rounds get 3 points.
4-8 faults = 2 points
12+ faults = 1 point
Cross Country
Clear rounds get 3 points.
4-8 faults = 2 points
12+ faults = 1 point
- Final Placings
In the event of equality of points after the final leg has been added, the following criteria will be applied in an effort to place the top 15 combinations:
- combination with most points attained on final day
- highest number of dressage points on final day
- highest number of dressage points throughout the league
- highest number of SJ & XC points throughout the league
Entries
Dressage entries must be made and paid via PayPal to einorthernregion@gmail.com, stating class, rider & horse plus height of SJ (if applicable) in the Notes section. Dressage entries close at 5pm on the Wednesday before each event.
Dressage times will be posted on the MEC website by noon on the Thursday before each event.
SJ & XC Entries
These are made through the MEC website with a closing date of 6pm on the Thursday before each event.
Times will be published on the MEC website on the Friday before each event.
